A fun, supportive intro to drones and coding, helping young people build confidence, problem solving skills, and real-world knowledge.
Drones have become powerful tools used in everything from environmental science and agriculture to emergency response, mapping, film making and delivery services. Learning how drones move, how they see the world, and how code controls their flight gives young people early access to a technology that’s now part of everyday life.
This free workshop gives students the opportunity to step straight into drone technology—flying, coding, testing ideas, and seeing immediate results through play, problem solving, and creativity.
Participants will explore how drones move, how coding directs their actions, and how these devices are used:
